BYAP – Celebrating 30 Years in 2011

Ballymun Youth Action Project (BYAP) is a community-based response to drug and alcohol abuse, which was founded by members of the Ballymun community in 1981.

During 2011, we’re marking our 30th anniversary.  We’re using the opportunity of our anniversary to highlight the importance of projects that work to combat substance misuse in communities throughout Ireland.

Throughout the month of March, we ran a series of events to mark the anniversary, including a major national conference, an innovative art exhibition and a community festival.  We aim to build on the outcomes of these events in our work over the coming months.

You can find out more about the services we deliver on a day-to-day basis here.
